The mission of the Des Moines Wedding Association is to provide qualified and reputable vendors to brides planning their wedding.

The Des Moines Wedding Association, an Association of wedding service providers, will form a solid network to promote the vendors to the bride and groom planning a wedding
in and around the Des Moines area.

The Association strives to be the industry authority on Des Moines weddings.

As of early 2009, the Des Moines Wedding Association has come under the ownership of Shannon Miller of Sound Extremes Mobile DJ Services.  The old owner did not have the time or energy to promote such an extensive service, and also did not have the lengthy and ongoing experience with vendors around the state.

I (Shannon) have been in the wedding business for over a decade, and with a very successful disk jockey service covering over 10,000 square miles of central Iowa, have played at hundreds of locations, worked with photographers, videographers, and eaten the cuisine from budget to extravagant. 

I know a lot of pricing for various vendors, details of what they offer, and the quality of product they provide.  As I continue to build a long list for your convenience, I will continually meet new vendors, and try to gather even more information from every one I come into contact with to make your experience in finding ones to suit your needs even easier and more enjoyable.
